Do połowy 2019 r. grupa Johnson Matthey uruchomi w Gliwicach fabrykę katalizatorów do różnego typu silników. Grupa, która ma już w tym mieście zakład produkcji akumulatorów litowo-jonowych, zamierza zainwestować w sumie ok. 450 mln zł, z czego 128 mln zł to koszt budowy nowej fabryki.
