Oko w oko z Ferrari F50 w Katowicach. Warto spotykać swoich bohaterów
Inwestowanie w klasyczne samochody

Angielskie powiedzenie "Never meet your heroes" sugeruje, by unikać spotkań ze swoimi bohaterami.

Chwilowy spadek sprzedaży to efekt problemów związanych m.in. z zaopatrzeniem i opóźnieniami w produkcji.

Akcje spółki rosły we wtorek ponad 7% po publikacji, by w dwa dni później ustanowić nowe historyczne szczyty 207 USD.

Oddał luksusowe auto do myjni.

Bramkarz włoskiego zespołu Genoa CFC oddał swoje Ferrari do myjni.

Rywale, a zwłaszcza Volkswagen (właściciel m. in. takich marek jak Porsche, Bugatti i Lamborghini) odjechali Ferrari korzystając z elektrycznego dopalacza.

W grudniu minionego roku, tłumacząc to osobistymi problemami, z funkcji prezesa nagle zrezygnował Louis Camilleri.

Niechęć Ferrari do silników elektrycznych słabnie. Włoski producent samochodów sportowych swój pierwszy pojazd EV zaprezentuje w 2025 roku.

Bank of America says the selection by Ferrari (NYSE:RACE) of Benedetto Vigna as CEO is a little bit of surprise.
"Vigna is noted to have neither luxury industry experience (like former CEO Louis Camilleri) or automotive experience (like Sergio Marchionne), although his technology experience is said to make an interesting value-add amid the electrification push in the industry.
BofA's breakdown: "We think Benedetto Vigna’s unknown quantity to those that follow RACE closely could result in some pressure on the stock in the near-term; however, any potential weakness in the stock would provide a particularly attractive buying opportunity, in our view, given the underlying strength/value at the brand and company."
BofA keeps a Buy rating on Ferrari.

Ferrari vs. Porsche: Which Luxury Auto Stock is a Better Buy?

The luxury automobile industry is poised to grow in the coming years, driven by investment in technical modifications and increased consumer interest. Both Ferrari (NYSE:RACE) and Porsche (PAH3) are well-established players in the luxury auto market and should benefit from the increased demand. But which of these stocks is a better buy now? Keep reading to find out.Ferrari N.V. (RACE) in Maranello, Italy, is a well-known brand in the automobile industry that designs , engineers, and sells luxury performance sports cars. The company offers sports, GT, special series cars; limited edition hypercars; one-off and track cars; and Icona cars. Porsche Automobil Holding SE (POAHY) in Stuttgart, Germany, is another well-known name operating through two segments, PSE and Intelligent Transport Systems.

Rising disposable income has led to increased demand for luxury cars over the past decade. As countries emerge from the pandemic-driven recession, the demand for luxury cars should rebound quickly. The global luxury cars market is projected to reach $655 billion by the end of 2027, exhibiting a 9.3% CAGR.

Large-scale luxury car manufacturers’ heavy investments in enhancing comfort and quality should drive the industry’s growth. Both RACE and POAHY are major players in the industry with significant market share.

Ferrari, parent Exor clinch alliance with former Apple designer Jony Ive

MILAN (Reuters) -Italian luxury car maker Ferrari (NYSE:RACE) and its parent company Exor (OTC:EXXRF), the holding vehicle of the Agnelli family, are joining forces with with Jony Ive, the creative mind behind many of Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL)'s iconic products, and fellow designer Marc Newson.

The duo - who together developed Apple Watch - belong to the LoveFrom creative collective of designers, architects writers, engineers and artists based in London and California.

LoveFrom will explore "a range of creative projects with Exor in the business of luxury" in addition to the collaboration with Ferrari, the companies said in a joint statement on Monday. The partnership is a multi-year deal.

A Ferrari spokesman said the pair will have a broad remit - potentially involving both car designs and other businesses including fashion.

Ive had been mentioned in the Italian press among possible candidates to replace Louis Camilleri when he suddenly stepped down as chief executive of Ferrari last year.

In the end Ferrari turned to technology industry veteran Benedetto Vigna to drive the luxury sports car maker known for its roaring, high-octane engines into a new era of silent, electric powertrains.

In a sign of its ambition to widen the appeal of its brand, Ferrari in June unveiled its first in-house fashion collection and inaugurated a new restaurant in its hometown of Maranello. It hopes its brand extension strategy will account for 10% of its profits in a decade.

Meanwhile Exor has recently moved its first steps into luxury. Last year it became the largest shareholder in Chinese luxury group Shang Xia, co-founded by France's Hermes, and in March it took a 24% holding in high-end shoemaker Louboutin for 540 million euros.

More recently, it entered a partnership to invest in Italian high-end consumer goods with The World-Wide Investment Company Ltd, one of Hong Kong's oldest family offices.

With a financial war chest of 2.5 billion euros available for acquisitions to 2023, Exor is often mentioned as a potential partner for bigger fashion brands such as Giorgio Armani.

London-born Ive, 54, left Apple in 2019 after 27 years, having played a big role in the designs of the iMac and MacBook computers as well as the iPod, iPhone and iPad. Newson, an Australian, has designed everything from Qantas business class seats to Nike (NYSE:NKE) sneakers.
